Built on tradition and consistency, our journey reflects trust, purity, and a passion for offering authentic food worldwide. 

What started as a modest canteen business has grown into a trusted brand with a strong presence in major cities, premium hotels, international locations, and pilgrimage centres. Over the years, Sagar Ratna has become a household name and synonymous with authentic Indian vegetarian cuisine across India and abroad.

Our first outlet opened in Defence Colony, New Delhi, in 1986, quickly won hearts with its fresh chutneys, preservative-free recipes, and traditional cooking methods. Over the decades, Sagar Ratna has expanded through both company-owned outlets and franchises, reaching diverse audiences while maintaining uncompromising quality and consistency. 

Today, Sagar Ratna is not just a restaurant chain, but a symbol of purity, taste, and the timeless traditions of Indian dining.

First Sagar outlet opened in Defence Colony, New Delhi, serving authentic Indian flavours and vegetarian dining experiences.

1991

Sagar Ratna expanded to The Lodhi, New Delhi, a luxury landmark, strengthening its presence in premium hospitality spaces.

Reached Noida, Uttar Pradesh, bringing rich and authentic Indian cuisine closer to new communities beyond regions across Delhi.

1996

Opened the Sagar outlet in Karkala, (Karnataka), going back to the roots, bringing authentic Indian flavours to the place of origin.

First franchise outlet launched in Ludhiana, Punjab, marking the beginning of franchise-driven expansion across India with trusted standards.

2002

Outlet inaugurated at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi, positioning Sagar Ratna firmly among India’s most prestigious culinary destinations.

Expanded into Connaught Place, Delhi’s iconic food hub, where authentic vegetarian South Indian cuisine delighted a bustling crowd.
